In short, Rams for Christ are Christian college-aged students who wish to "be" (exist) for Christ. The RFC ministry aims to guide us into discipleship relationships through which we love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Such a goal calls us to also love our neighbors as ourselves, and since we all come from various spiritual and life backgrounds we seek to welcome others and encourage them in their own spiritual journey. Being a Christian is not a totally individual endeavor! God has a purpose for His church, so as His children, we also strive to build meaningful community among a diversity of people. Finally, our vision is far-sighted. Though we want to take advantage of every opportunity here and now, we HOPEfully await our Savior and Lord from Heaven. Come along!
Where can you find us?
We base our activities out of the Christian Campus Center, which is located in the center of campus across from the eagle statue at the northern crosswalk. The CCC is equipped with a meeting room where we enjoy free Sunday night meals and worship times, as well as a computer lab and game room. Come by and study, check your facebook, or go to the back room and experience our unique tradition- "VOLLEY-PONG". You will almost always find students hanging out in the CCC. Why should we interest you?
There are two reasons: 1) What you need and 2) What you have to offer.
1) What do you need? We believe that whatever it is, it can be found in this ministry, whether it be spiritaul guidance & encouragment, academic help, social life, recreation, and more. Live college life to the fullest alongside a group of friends that will bless your life as we submit ourselves and our lives to God.
2) What do you have to offer? Are you ready to leave selfish living and become selfless? Christian maturity calls for us to serve God by looking to the needs of others. If you are ready to offer yourself to His cause during college you will be interested to discover the ways you may put your faith into action on campus, in the community, and elswhere in the world!
